I would love to know.......
« on: December 07, 2005, 06:23:36 PM »

how many others out there are suffering with MC/CC and how you are managing your disease. I'm not doing very well. I am currently not on any meds(except immodium). I am about ready to start on a gluten-free diet to see if that helps.  I went gluten-free for 3 months shortly after i was dx'd (feb,05) but i was also on meds at that time. so i don't know if the diet, the meds or the combination of the both brought the diarrhea under control......

it is so difficult for me to do the gluten-free diet......but i am gonna give it a shot.  i have to do something.  my GI doesn't think diet in anyway affects this disease.  i think he's nuts!

i hope there are others out there who find this site and will share with me.

peace,
seeker

Seek,

First off welcome to PITG!  I for one have never heard of MC/CC!  But it certinly does not sound like a friendly companion Undecided  However I read some of your other posts and must say I do appreciate the fact that you haven't lost your sense of humor.  I know some days my sense of humor about my Crohn's is all that gets me through it.  I look forward to learning more about your condition and plan to do some further research on it tomorrow!  Thanks for posting and I hope you hang around for awhile because we can always use someone with a good sense of humor around here!
